Meet the Hosts

Jake Humphrey is a presenter, entrepreneur, and investor.

He has covered major global sporting events, including the Olympics, Formula 1, FIFA World Cups, Euros, and Commonwealth Games, and was the face of BT Sport's Premier League coverage for a decade.

"For years, I dreamed of having meaningful, vulnerable, and impactful conversations like the ones we now have on the show.

In the summer of 2019, I met Damian Hughes, and the spark of an idea was born.

With his academic expertise and my background in sports and curiosity, I wondered: could we create something truly special?

300 episodes later, this has become the most exciting, fulfilling, and purposeful work I've ever done.”

Damian Hughes is a speaker and sports performance expert whose research has earned praise from figures including Sir Alex Ferguson, Tiger Woods, and Muhammad Ali.

He has worked closely with numerous elite sports teams to improve their performance, including the England Football team Scotland Rugby.

“I grew up in a High Performance culture at a Manchester boxing gym, shaping my life and career path, working with others to build similar environments in sport and business.

I learned that true High Performance often happens behind the scenes, through quiet commitment, repeated failures, and courage.

When Jake and I first discussed highlighting this hidden process, we aimed to demystify it and make it accessible to everyone, regardless of age or ability.

It’s an incredible privilege to be surrounded by an amazing team, dedicated to this mission.”
